I’ve had this blog since 2015. Four whole years. And I still forget about it, even when writing helped me. Welcome to confessions of a fat girl. Here, I will talk about my life and the various aspects of it that I’m trying to work through. From my struggles with weight loss and transition into the fitness life, to my passion for makeup, writing and other creative outlets. I also aim to be transparent here, especially about my struggles with conception and my mental health battles with anxiety and depression. My name is Amy and I reside in north Texas with my husband of eight years, Rex. We have four adorable cats: Scooter, Handsome Jack, Thor, and Loki. Hopefully, one day, there will be kids added to the mix but that is another tale, for another time. I finished cosmetology school and though I do makeup and such for close friends, I’ve not actively pursued it as a career after a particularly difficult spot.
